Day 1

Today we start to walk.. first we waited out the morning storm. We had eggs and bacon for breakfast with cinnamon rolls deep fried in the bacon grease. It was amazing. I got to cook for breakfast. After the rain we broke down the tarp.. Once the tarp was down, it started to snow. We began to walk.. I wanted to jump the fence and start from where we were camped. Shepherd wanted to walk to the boundary sign. So we did. The snow didn't last long. Just long enough to make the pictures pretty and to fill some puddles. We dried out some gear at a break spot before we tripped out on the awesomeness around the Klondike Bluffs. We decided not to rush through Arches real quick. So we made a U-turn to the Tower Arch. We spent the rest of the day playing frisbee all around the bluffs. Dinner was a mash potato medley. Shepherd cooked while Knightshift and I set up the tarp for the night.. What a great first day.
