Pre hike day 7

With our final day of camping wrapped up.. It's time we hit the trail. . It's time to begin what we set out here to do, so we must get to the Hayduke. First a quick detour back into Moab to pick up some coffee without grounds and our packages that have arrived. We skipped the store for resupply because Kaliko and Rose gave us a ton of food. Eggs and Sunday Bacon, Cheese and Butter. We had no need to resupply. So down the Hwy. out of town, onto this dirt road that led to a fince with some rocks. We were at the boundary of Arches National Park. This is where we stopped.. This is where we got out of the truck.. Transferring our transportation to our feet. Saying goodbye is always hard, especially when you have to say goodbye to such great people. First a group photo.. Then some hugs.. We watched then drive away, back to Salt Lake City. We looked at eachouther in the openness and decided to camp where we stood. We can begin to hike tomorrow. For now we should just set up under that juniper tree and get our minds right for trail. Something sorely needed (for me) after a week of camping with two different families and a hostel full of talkers.
